Quick Overview

What we track: Session length (how long you're active in a tab), whether you interact with reminders, and—if you opt in—anonymous usage metrics (e.g. reminder frequency). No URLs, no page content, no personal identifiers.

What we don't track: We do not collect your browsing history, page content, or any data that could identify you. Your activity stays on your device unless you choose to share anonymous analytics.

Privacy-first: Privacy is at the core of our design. We only use data to improve the extension experience and never sell or share your information.

Frequently Asked Questions

The extension uses Chrome's built-in APIs to detect when a tab is active and for how long. It does not read page content or URLs—only whether you're actively using a tab. After a configurable period of continuous activity, it can trigger a reminder for a short break or micro-wellness prompt.
No. YogaMag WorkFlow does not access, store, or transmit your browsing history, URLs, or page content. Session detection is based only on tab activity (active vs. idle time), not on what you visit.
Locally we store your preferences (e.g. reminder interval, analytics on/off). If you enable optional analytics, we may receive anonymous, aggregated data such as how often reminders are shown or dismissed—never linked to your identity or browsing.
Open the extension (click the icon in your toolbar), go to Settings or Options, and turn off "Anonymous analytics" or similar. Once disabled, no analytics data is sent. Your preferences are stored only on your device.
Reminders require Chrome to allow notifications for the extension. If they're off, you won't see them. Check Chrome settings: go to Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → Notifications and ensure the extension (or Chrome) is allowed to show notifications. Also confirm that "Do Not Disturb" or system-level notification blocking isn't enabled.
Click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the popup. Look for "Settings" or "Reminder interval" and choose the duration that works for you (e.g. every 45 minutes, every hour). Changes apply immediately.
The extension uses simple, local heuristics—such as long uninterrupted tab activity—to suggest micro-breaks. It does not access health data, biometrics, or any sensitive information. "Stress" here is inferred only from session length and your settings, not from personal or medical data.
Open chrome://extensions, find "YogaMag WorkFlow," and click "Remove." Any data stored by the extension (e.g. preferences) is removed with it. We do not retain your data after uninstall.

Troubleshooting

  1. Reloading the extension: Go to chrome://extensions, find YogaMag WorkFlow, and click the reload (circular arrow) icon. Or toggle the extension off and on. Use this after updating the extension or if it stops responding.
  2. Chrome notification permissions: Reminders use Chrome notifications. In Chrome, go to Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → Notifications. Ensure notifications are allowed for Chrome or for the extension. If you previously blocked them, remove the block and reload the extension.
  3. Clearing extension storage: If settings seem stuck or the extension behaves oddly, you can clear its local data: open the extension's options/settings and look for "Reset" or "Clear data," or remove and reinstall the extension. Reinstalling removes all local data.
  4. Updating Chrome: The extension works best with the current version of Chrome. Go to Settings → About Chrome to check for updates. Installing the latest Chrome update can fix compatibility or permission issues.

Privacy & Data

We use anonymous analytics only, and only if you opt in. This helps us understand how often reminders are used and improve the product. You can disable analytics at any time in the extension settings.

We do not collect browsing content, history, or any data that identifies you. All session and preference data stays on your device unless you explicitly enable optional anonymous analytics.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising or other purposes. Our use of data is limited to improving YogaMag WorkFlow and supporting you when you contact us.
