How YogaMag creates, reviews, and corrects yoga and wellness content.

Last updated: September 4, 2026

1. What we publish

YogaMag publishes educational content on yoga poses, sequences, meditation, pranayama, book summaries, and wellness tools. Our goal is practical, readable guidance for home practitioners — not a substitute for personalised medical or therapeutic care.

2. Authorship & credentials

Articles include a named author byline with a link to their author page. Where authors hold teaching credentials (for example RYT/E-RYT), those details belong on the author profile. We do not claim content is “medical-reviewed” unless a named, credentialed reviewer and review date are shown on the page.

3. Sourcing

Health-adjacent claims should cite primary sources (peer-reviewed journals, PubMed, NIH, or recognised clinical guidelines) with links. Vague phrases like “scientifically proven” without a citation are edited out. If a claim cannot be sourced, it is removed or rewritten as personal practice guidance.

4. Safety & disclaimers

Condition-focused content (back pain, pregnancy, blood pressure, mental health, and similar) must include contraindications where known and a clear medical disclaimer. Readers with injuries, pregnancy, or diagnosed conditions should consult a qualified clinician or yoga therapist before practising.

5. Corrections

When we find errors, unsafe guidance, or outdated year-specific lists, we update the article and show a visible updated date. Report issues via Contact.

6. Commercial relationships

Affiliate recommendations include a visible disclosure. Outbound commercial links use rel="sponsored nofollow". Sponsored content, if any, is labelled clearly and does not override safety standards.
